I have seen them do well in full sun but they seems to look the best when they get about 6 hours sun and the rest shade. Thats just my opinion.

I would be interested in seeing if the palm was planted in the ground some place warmer, would it start growing normal or would it stay small perminantly. Then I would also be curious as to would offspring from that little guy be small also

Well barb Inside the enclosure it was down to 0 degrees every night for almost 2 weeks. Again I really dont know how long the cover on the cold frame was loose. I always get anxious and end up burning alot of palms. Yesterday I moved everything into the cold frame because it gets defused sun. I will try 2 weeks and see if they can take full sun by then. Thanx for the reminder!!
