Post by Wes North Van » Sun Jun 19, 2005 6:23 pm

The three plants are brahea armata, musa basjoo and an ice plant. I don't know the latin word for the ice plant

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Thanks!
I can't wait for both the musa Basjoo and Brahea Armata to grow larger. I imagine the m. basjoo will be a good size bt the end of the summer. :D The brahea has produced three fronds since I got it in February. Not bad growth! :)

It seems to grow faster than my Chamaerops Humilis which is a good size and much older. :( It is in flower right now :) but unfortunetly it requires both a male and female and I only have the one multi trunked palm. :(
If you check my website you will see pics of it.

If either one of you are in Vancouver make sure you let me know and we'll show you the place. The Trachycarpus fortuneis are quite large now. One is higher than my house. :)
