I can't wait for both the musa Basjoo and Brahea Armata to grow larger. I imagine the m. basjoo will be a good size bt the end of the summer.

The brahea has produced three fronds since I got it in February. Not bad growth!
It seems to grow faster than my Chamaerops Humilis which is a good size and much older.

It is in flower right now

but unfortunetly it requires both a male and female and I only have the one multi trunked palm.

If either one of you are in Vancouver make sure you let me know and we'll show you the place. The Trachycarpus fortuneis are quite large now. One is higher than my house.
