Hey, I bought two from Aroidia Research their prices are here: http://www.aroidia.com/airpots/ I have had a few people recommend two other companies; RootMaker, and Better Roots. All three companies have a "bag" system that they recommend for in-ground use. They should work good for palms. Some even ...

From what I have researched you need temperature fluxuations. Thats the major key. This sprouted when I was having daytime highs of 80F-85F and lows of 47F-53F for about 2 weeks. Here are a couple links you may want to look at: http://www.bioversityinternational.org/publications/Web_version/52/ch34 ...

Liquid Copper and other Fungicide treatments
I was wondering if anyone recommends treating palms as a preventative measure with a copper fungicide? This goes for both indoor and outdoor palms.

First musa germination!
Woo Hoo!
I finally got one of my Musa sikkimensis "Daj Giant" seeds to sprout!
Since it was raining here yesterday, I finally desided to set up my heating pad.
I went out to get this tray and found this guy!

Cold hardy palm info?
Has anyone tried, or have info on Trachycarpus nanus, Trachycarpus takil, and Trachycarpus wagnerianus?
I am looking to ad a few more palms to my yard. I don't care about covering them up once it gets below zero,
but I am getting tired of having to dig up most of my yard every fall and spring.
