Sabal minor "McCurtain"

Post by Bgreen »

This last weekend I went down to Wichita to visit the in-laws and pick up two sabal minor "McCurtain" from Raymone. The two pics are the ones I bought, both are starting to produce a fan leaf. I did go by the Church, but didn't look around real hard, because of a funeral. Maybe next month I can get some pics to share.

Ramone does an UNBELIEVABLE job there at the Church. To see that yard in the middle of Wichita Ks. is unbelievable. Those Sable Minor Louisiana are HUGE for Kansas. I need to get down there and buy some McCurtains from him as the seeds I was given by a guy in Kansas City have not popped after months & months

You guys are very lucky you can just go and pick some of these up. They are very rare here but would be totally hardy here.

Ramone works as a sort of landskeeper for the Methodist Church at the Washington Exit off of Kellogg in Wichita.
