I collected some yucca seed from my in-laws this year to try and start.
I soak 50 seeds for 24hrs and placed on a damp paper towel in a dark cabinet.
With in a week about 50% have started germinating so figured I better ask what
sort of things I will need to take pics of for an ID. I can't get a flower now, but know
they are a creamy white and the plants survive a zone 6b winter. I am guessing Adam's Needle, but
it's really just a guess.
Thank for the help and if someone wants a few seeds let me know, otherwise I will start the rest and have plenty of seedlings to give away in spring if I don't kill them all first!

Yuccas are hard to identify when they are small, but when they get older take a pic of the plant over all and a pic of the egde of the leaf.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Looks like yucca filamentosa, comes from the eastern part of the usa, and is very cold hardy.
