Look at the crystals in those boulders
Are you near Quartzite?
Lovely Bizzie...surprised to see one, especially looking that good.
Photos just keep getting better and better.
Thanks Jim.

Looked it up on Google.
You're about 145 miles from Q.
Lots of mines everywhere...very cool!

Probably more gold mines around then anything-there are
abondoned mines right off the trail(like, you could fall into, off the trail)
on this ride here-I missed them this time but did see them the first time.

Just say "yes, mom"

I've been following an RV couple called the Bayfield Bunch for about a year.
They have the most wonderful pics, just like yours, of the AZ landscape.
Most recently, pics of the old mines. http://thebayfieldbunch.com/

That'd be so cool to see!Petroglyphs on some of the rock formations
Careful though...the guy indicated some of the caves have long passages, some of which are unstable.
Quite the history there!

No caves where I will be going...this is a long ride and I am just about ready for it but
I had to order a bigger Camelbak as mine only holds 70oz(2 liters?)-new one holds 100oz or 3 liters.
There are some petroglyphs on the rocks at the bottom of Telegraph pass here on S mountain.
Should be a couple petroglyph pics here.
