Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

What a great facility for families; nice it's nearby.
Dumb question, but are animals housed in barns during winter?
Good variety of plants, too.
Quite the stand of bamboo!

Great pictures.
What a gorgeous facility, with a good selection of easier-care plants.
Somebody put a lot of thought into that.
So, Kent, did you go to the zoo?

Thanks for the comments
(I'm getting better photos, but still have a ways to go
Mike ~ Those were with a Nikon D300S, and a 20 year old Tamron 70-300mm lens.
Was shooting through the cage bars, so there is some "ghosting" around the edges.

Boy
I'm glad he didn't ask you that again
How do you get pics of the lions, tigers(guess they didn't have bears?) with no fence or bars, are they just out in the open,
can you pet them?

Jim, They have bears too, just haven't got to those photos yet
The lions & tigers were behind bars, so it was a combination of shooting through the little squares and cropping, also using a telephoto lens and defocusing the bars out of the frame helped.

That's cool!
I figured you didn't pet them,it takes 2 hands to operate a camera(decent one)
as far as I know
Still,it does look like your right up next to them-very pretty place.
