Ever see a palm with a leg warmer?

This is my beloved Trachy in the ground. As you can see I have fitted it with a palm leg warmer. (it's a playboy arctic fleece blanket).
I have some rope lights wrapped around it cause it was supposed to go down to 4 last night but didn't. I just thought it was funny.

Ya, so far so good. It is from Georga so I figued I would keep some warmth around it when it drops below 5C. Don't wanna shock it and the fact I just planted it a week ago. I don't really wanna risk losing or harming it.

Good plan to gently bring it into your environment.
