Steve, just some 2 cents of advise, plant those where you will NOT get wind. I tried planting some Musa Basjoo last year but they broke in the wind
Hopefully I can find a spot for some this year if I can snag me a Nana somewhere.
Fine looking bananas there! Plant them with a bag of steer manure mixed with your soil. I've had to amend my soil to get them to grow. It's rather rocky and sandy so even a top dressing of sea soil in the spring works wonders. Post another pic later in the season to show there progress.
I will be uncovering mine soon. My last chance of frost is usually March 22 so I will wait a couple of weeks before I actually do it. I will start fertilizing at that time also. I am going to try that new miracle gro with trace elements.
