Yucca glauca question

Yucca glauca question
So I got a yucca glauca from Kelly Grummins last summer. I've planted it and all. It hasn't grown very big but it grew about 5 pups. The thing that I find strange, is that it has filaments. On all the pictures of yucca glauca I've seen, none had filaments. Is this normal?

Yes, glauca has filaments.
