Hello from Windsor, Ontario Canada
I started with 2 windmill palms last year. Both of them made it through the winter but one died after a late spring frost. I replaced it with another windmill palm. I also bought a needle palm this year and 2 pindo palms that I transplanted in larger pots. I am looking for ideas on how to properly care for them all, fertilizers (and how often to fertilize), preparing them for the winter, etc.
I love palms.

Hey there, welcome to the forum.
I say get those palms in the ground next spring. Watch my posts, as well as other members' posts for our methods for, and progress of winter protection.
coconut mike has the most elaborate protection setups, in my opinion.. mainly since he is in zone 5a and has some of the largest palms in Eastern Canada.
You also can click on a members name and review their historical posts, maybe for ideas of protection from last year.
You probably want some advice on siting those palms before planting. Lets see some pictures of them first.
Once again, welcome!
