I wanted to share some pictures from earlier in the year which shows where I started, what the freeze/cold May did to my plants, and finally some current pictures showing things really bursting into life.
Just planted - about 10 days after average last frost date ... early May ... lookin' good!

Then came a gut-wrenching 29 degrees the day after Mother's Day. DOH!!!!

Then continued cold weather in May and early June equals SLOW recovery ... pic from 5/31.

Now for current pictures taken today, 6/23.
You know the drill. The first pic is always the shot showing the entire front yard!

Close up of elephant ears.

Cannas making nice comeback.

Banana patch starting to look great.

Looking into the front yard from the other angle.

My middle of the yard bed.

Another angle of same bed.

Around the other side looking at my castor bean patch in the middle bed.

Thai giant starting to put on some size.

My three papayas starting to grow decently.

Amorphophallus konjac.

Croton patch.

Another angle of the middle bed.

My magnolia grandiflora '24 below' has really leafed out in last few weeks.

Christmas palm enjoying sunshine.

Can you see the lemons?

How about the oranges?

And finally my two trachycarpus fortuneis.

Hope you enjoyed!
