Got more inspiration for growing more exotic plants! Thanks, Jim, for that!

Everything is looking awesome as usual. Have to say those A. americana medio pictas are one of my favorite agaves too. And I am not fond of the varigated ones. Hope spear pull palms pull through. I know they always do. I had 2 spear pulls and 2 pushing out damaged fronds. At some point you expect they would grow out of it.
Thanks you guys...
Chad
I think I have one or two that appear to still be damaged,
the other Princeps and a Bulgarian Trachy....probably one
more soaker and those will eject finally.

Cuja- I grow Pediocactus in my rural z. 4b/5a (I guess now it's moved to 5a). They are finicky, they won't (generally) do well if your overnight temps stay above 20C for more then a couple days. I know that they grow in my garden well, but just 200km away (Toronto, zone 6) people have a terrible time trying to keep them alive...
<img src="http://weathersticker.wunderground.com/ ... /71265.gif" />
Yep...cuja1 wrote:Have you tried pediocactus Jim? I got one from coldhardycactus.com. It's really small but the picture of a full grown one looks cool.
Most of the small flowering barrels are from Kelly Grummons at Coldhardycactus.com
http://coldhardycactus.com/
I believe I do have one of those in the back of the garden, there are a few small barrel like cactus
which may include Simpsonii and the little snowball one-I know they were there at one point!

Actually there may be a good sized Simpsonii in the front and I think it is blooming...
they are tricky, you don't even see the buds on this one and next thing you know...
its flowering.
BTW
The one I am thinking of is right between the 2 A.Parryi(small & large-second pic)
and right beneath the horse crippler flowers.

Looking Great!!
This garden is really doing great. All of your plants have certainly increased in size. For such a small garden, I think it is extremely well done and filling in nicely. I am sure you will be moving things around before long Congrats
