Thanks Guys, I don't protect them Igor. I have only placed a Styrofoam cover with some breathing holes
over the rostratas and baccatas for the first winter when they were small.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

What's this Yucca? Reminds me of a Y. filamentosa x schottii.
If you want any hybrid Yucca seed let me know and I'll mail you some.
Thanks Tim. I can't even remember what the seeds were labeled as. I thought they were
just rostratas. Thanks for the offer on the seeds. i'll let you know.
that 'rostrata' Yucca sure seems to have 'U' shaped leaves (cross section of leaf)........not a pure rostrata trait. Perhaps it is the Y. rostrata-rigida form since rigida has 'U' shaped leaves. How cold do you get?

Jay is that seed I may have sent you? Looks like some of the crazy rostrata seed I have. Eveything from that batch is not the norm. PS I can't tell the rostrata from the thompsoniana seed I ordered that year.

I don't how pure, But that year I bought Rostrata, thompsoniana, and rigida. It could be a rigida hybrid or rigida? If it is that would be a winner!
All my rostrata come from the same place and they all look different.
