Thought I would share some of new palms along with a couple agaves. Palms in order are robusta, sabal texana, dioon edule, trachy nanus and reg. sabal minor( supose to have costapalmatte fronds).
Tim its a little early for planting with possible snow this week. Last year a late frost hurt a lot of new plants.
Mike the trachy came from ebay along with some of the agaves. But the dyckia and A americana came from the beach. Cant wait to get back there to get all the palms I didnt have room for.
Thanks barb, since I added a two windows and several lights the plants are loving it. My trachy princeps are opening a new frond each. Cold weather has delayed several shippments from yuccado, cistus and pdn. Which means I am still waiting on my Takil.
Got another shippment in today. Been arguing with PDN about shipping my plants for some time. They insist on waiting till its safe. So today on a cold day with ice and rain my plants arrive. How freaking ridiculous? At least I finally have my T. Takil. Its as small as I expected it to be. Just wondering if I should risk planting it this yr. ?
Thanks Barb, I have two princeps. I really want to plant one, but Im worried about its true hardiness. I guess I could box it up like first year trachies. Hopefully in my zone that would be enough.
I'll be buying in like four large 7g palms. When I get my tax return. Here is my list: pindo, sabal Birmingham, sabal minor and needle palm and some 3g mutes palms.
Nobody panics when people plant normal trees because its part of the plan... if someone plants a Palm EVERYONE LOSES THERE MINDS!

I second that cus they lost me 2. where did yours come from Chad? Im afraid I am going to end up with an ebay one and it will be a seedling when it arrives.
Both came from ebay. The one from palmwholesale is much smaller. But still larger than a seedling and with mature fronds. I havent seen anything from the other guy ( North of Florida ) for a while. Jim gave me his connection.
