Ive heard of that, a well as using it in grafting and rooting cuttings. I need to get my hands on that stuff.....
Also, ive read using seaweed mix aids in germination as well as "promotes stronger root structure".... Well see on that one

That link says: "Gibberellic acid, GA3 is a naturally occurring plant hormone that regulates the growth of plants, including triggering seed germination. Gibberellic Acid is not manufactured; it's a natural product extracted from the Gibberella fujikuroi fungus. There are over 100 known forms of gibberellic acid; GA3 is the most effective."
What I've read about seed germination and G acid/humic acid, though, is that it "encourages/feeds" microbes.
We use sterilized potting soil, so there's no microbes/fungi to feed.
My palm special fert has humic acid in it, so tomorrow I'm gonna douse the seeds with my palm fertilizer.
Probably wouldn't hurt.
And it would be a miracle if it helped germination.
Thanks for the link Keith.
By the way, you're back from Phoenix?
Any photos?

That doesnt matter, the second you expose it to air, water or any other non sterile environment its chalk full of them ( unless your house is bathed in UV sterilizers of courselucky1 wrote:

Maybe there'll be mycorrhizae floating around my house...

I have a hairdresser friend who says she mixes hair clippings into all potting soil for huge benefits.
