I have always liked the multi-headed palm from Africa, where did you find seed? I wonder why it is not grown more often?

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Doum Palms

These Palms have a lot of nice attributes, In habitat they are good down to - 5C , probably can take a little lower.

Not sure why so few seem to be in cultivation, These have been easy growing here and can take a fair amount of abuse & root disturbance. Did lose a couple seedlings in the early stages due to overwatering, but that was my own fault.

Seeds are almost always in stock at Otanique.com , Also had some from botanicalauctions.com

Rare Palm Seeds also stocks these,
( I've never dealt with RPS directly but they may be a good choice for those who need Phyto's to import)
