Goldflame honeysuckle. I've got two these plus a chocolate vine (akebia) on trellis' on my shop. They are four season interest plants.

Hardy passionflower P. caerula. I've got a tropical one also, that lived due to the mild winter.

Mediterranean fan palm, who knows what cultivar. The leaflets are almost 360 degrees.

Good that you marked the spear with a felt pen...excellent idea.
Glad to see "Lou" settled in at your place.
BTW, admin is looking into tweaking PN to allow easier smart phone posting.

I took those maybe 4 days ago, and you wouldn't believe how much the Goldflame has grown since then. They smell great too. The akebia has already bloomed, it doesn't smell like chocolate to me, but is a fragrant smell. They both stay evergreen for the most part.
Yes I saw on the Hardy Palm board, guys were marking their spears. It's moving right along. When we excavated, we dug a wide circumference so I think we did well not destroying her roots. The lil bonus S minor N Texas ecotype is also pushing a frond and has a new spear as well. I wonder how old these guys are, Erik?
It would be nice to have a mobile formatted page for sure.
