Awesome

I also love the snow on the palms look, esp. Trachy's. Canaries also look really cool with snow on them; I remember a couple of years ago seeing some shots on the Weather Channel with snow on the Canaries in Vegas when they got about 6" of snow.

Is the tree in the fourth pic a Cordyline? Whatever it is it looks really awesome too.

The fourth pic. is a C.australis approx. 13'ft tall. I planted that one 10 years ago as a seedling. Cheers, Joe

Joe those are some awsome pics of wintertime on SSI. The snow is a rare sight for you and your palms and Yuccas.

Snow on these Rock

Post by banana joe »

John, We do get snow, but it definately doesn't last long. There are Winters where we don't see snow on areas of this island. The snow you see in those pics. was the total for last winter. It only lasted hours thenis rained. I went out and took those pics. before it was all gone. Cheers, Joe
