It's leafing out!

Finally after being in the ground 2 months, my magnolia 'Edith Bogue' is starting to break bud and leaf out. Here are some pics.

Baby leaf with more to come.

Top bud is breaking open.

Overall shot of it.

How much growth can I expect this summer?

The wait was worth it.
Great spot for it.

Is that a bit of hail damage on the leaves?

Will look forward to the flower pics.
Wonder how Scotty's are faring.

Magnolia might be one plant that could deal with hail damage :D
