That azalea is gorgeous! wow.

Is that more damage than usual on y.rostrata? or do that many leaves go each year usually?

Viewing those pics FELT good.
The only thing I can match you on is the dandelion

Barb, the Y. rostrata has slight spear damage (white leaves). The lower brown leaves are due to fungus which prematurely killed the leaves......thanks to all our moisture. It has the most brown this time of year but will look much better in summer.

Tim, didn't notice the white on the y.rostrata.
It'll look even taller once all the brown leaves bend to the skirt.

It's a beauty.

Great photos, Tim. I'd say we are about a week behind you here! How tall/old is your p. trifoliata (or I guess it's c. trifoliata now)? Does it fruit each year?

Hi Barb,

the white on the rostrata spears is hard to tell from a distance.....this photo shows some of the damage.

Hi Cameron,

the P. trifoliate is probably 12 feet tall but is still small.......not very full yet. Has not bloomed yet......hopefully this year??? Grown from seed.

Yes Tim I see it now.
Not bad considering the winter it endured

The snow-weight did a bit of flattening too...

but they'll pop back up with some warmth.
