Did I hurt these trees

Post by Kansas »

My Banyan tree needed repotted up badly as the roots were coming out the bottom at an alarming rate. So while I was at it, I noticed my CIDP sappling & one of my Butia sappling also had roots shooting out. SO I repotted them up a size. Is this bad to do during growing season?

I think its perfectly OK. In fact, when they are actively growing is probably the best time to do it. This stating the obvious but as long as you are careful with the root ball (disturb roots as little as possible) and place in a shaded location for 7-10 days and water properly, you'll plants and trees will be OK.
