Palms

Post by macario »

As usual your stuff looks great. I wish I had the balls to grow a coconut. I know its gonna just die lol. How big was that coconut when you bought it and how much was it? That washy in your yard is awsome. I have been doing a little research and trying to find one palm I could stick in the front yard that will make it with minimal protection. So far I think Im gonna go with a brazoria palm that has some trunk on it. I cant wait to see how big that coconut gets!! Good work!!

The coconut was $75 bucks. It has grown maybe 5 inches with 2 new fronds since I got it. Its very hit n miss with me too. It's going into a real greenhouse soon for winter. So I am hoping it will be ok.
You know whats funny, most of my palms and banana's are doing better in the cooler weather we are having. My big washy seems to like it. I guess you learn something new all the time.

I will post a pic of my adonidia in a few minutes, it's coming back nice.
