We haven`t even got our first frost yet. We normally won`t see snow till the end of Nov beggining of Dec. Just out of curiosity where did you get the info on our snow?

I read an interesting comment in a Golf magazine about how weather is reported.
The guy suggested "instead of saying 30 per cent chance of showers, how
about saying 70 per cent chance of a fair day".
Good point.
But that's the nature of weather...and news reporting.
Crappy news gets the headlines.

If you take a look at the forcast for Caledonia ontario it will show whats going on here..Its freakin warm, and getting warmer. Very odd..we are used to frost by now. I thing Oct 7 is supposed to be 34 with humidex. I am going to Mexico soon and i will be dissapointed if we leave here and it's nice warm weather. This would be great winter weather for all of us.
Perhaps a winter low of 60f (15c) for youz there !? ... and 15f (-9.4c) here on the west coast. I belileve cool / cold air will prevail over the PNW region for the first half of autumn/winter. Milder here to some extent in mid January and a chilly period again in early February.
We'll be seeking advise from Arctic Palm while he and his palms soak up the warm winter 2007/08 sun! Start planting your borderline palms now.
Cheers, Barrie.

Hey Barrie,
You do know that we here in Ontario WILL pay for this nice weather. It happens every year. We are sitting pretty till december or jan then it hits. Freezing rain, slush, snow, freezing drizzle.
So I will enjoy my 28c degree days, because very very soon you will be hearing about the Ontario snow storms on the news
Viva Summer!!!!!!!

Vernon (35 miles north of Kelowna) was gorgeous yesterday UNTIL 2:30 pm when a gigantic black cloud
arrived with very strong winds, and ....

YUP, HAIL ON THE LAWNCHAIR !!
Today it poured cats and dogs, now the sun's shining.
Weird weather.
Talked to a man and his daughter yesterday who were MOVING TO TORONTO today.
He says he'll come back to the Okanagan for his holidays.
Arctic, have a good vac in Mexico.
