Sure does!!! He had some on his hands and wiped his mouth. I never new a face could make so many distorted expressions. It's 100% non-toxic so no harm was done. I did find out that it will make your skin feel like it's burning if you have some on you and you sweat. Make sure you wash after every use to avoid the bitter apple face and burn.
This might work good for Turkey season too, A flock of them always shows up the first week of October to pillage the garden. They never bothered with any of the Palms , but a little insurance might be in order.
I would go with a Remington 10 gauge Turkey Shotgun with #4 shot for the turkeys. One application usually takes care of the problem. Seriously though, turkeys hate great horned owls. A great horned owl decoy in your yard or garden will keep them away most of the time.
I guess the grasshoppers aren't really doing too much damage, It's just a nusiance to have a nice frond open one day and then see it tattered the next. Will try the Bitter Apple Spray to see what effect it has!
we had a Lab that loved the bitter apple stuff too. He used to lick his paws to the point where he would lick the hair off and make a "hot spot". We used wrap his paws and spray the bitter apple on the bandages top keep him from licking and while we were spraying his paws he'd be licking the spray nozzel of the bitter apple and then 2 minutes later he'd have the bandages licked off his foot. Crazy a$$ dog. He had bad allergies for several months each year.
bgreen - if your dog likes your trash so much, it must be good trash, I may have to drive by and see what your thowing away. Do a little dumpster diving.
