Date palms

Here's a pic of some date palms in southern Spain. I wish I could grow these.

Me too. Gorgeous frond colour!
And not a garden hose in sight

I think I water mine too much.

I know Lucky, Mine seem to LOVE LOVE LOVE all the water they can get. I can not water mine too much. However, every time you see one of these species (Phoe.), it is in a sandy desert looking climate?????????????What the heck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
