Advice for my chinese windmill

Have not payed much attention to this since I got it. Watered and stuff but thats all....I took it in tonight cause the expected frost and noticed some spots...any ideas

I have had a couple of Chinese windmill palms outside with some minor dryout and wind damage due to our warm and dry winds. I haven't left them out at night as I don't want to take a chance on them and the other palms being stolen. The damage does not look like the problems that you have.

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Looks like a switching from indoor to outdoor issue and some excessive soil moisture. Adjustments to varing conditions require a period of time to aclimate. In short growing regions this is problematic.
