Allen, these things probably weigh 150 - 200 lbs each. I can get you their contact info Monday, but it is a local family owned nursery so I don't know if they would be willing to ship or not...

You don't have to be crazy to grow palms in Alberta..... But it helps

Right now I think I hold the record for largest palm in Edmonton thats not from home depot and largest trachy in Edmonton. That could easily be beat if we went down to vancouver and picked up some 15 footers! I think they may have a better survival chance then the smaller ones we have.

Phil,

I'm planting my palms this summer when I landscape. I have a 7 gallon trachy, 2 gallon butia cap, and small sabal minor but I'm buying 2 7 gallon washingtonia's and try to get a hold of one of the 5 foot butia's or trachies that they have in kelowna now. I really wanted to get a 15 gallon brahea arm. or trachy from vancouver but I don't have the transportation for it yet. I'll put up pics probably by late may of the job. I'm adding yuccas that I can get a hold of which i dont know which ones they'll be yet.

I just bought 2 6 foot trachys from chillypalmtree.com. He is in S.C. but he met me in Baltimore for the pickup. I am really happy with them.
