Even with cold soil temps it kept growing......... The one in ground on the side of the GH is starting to make me nervous, hasn't picked up much height but it is really starting to fatten up May have to add a little more height to its area before the year is out.
Nice Looking Palm!
I really don't have much experience with T.fortunei, just a couple smaller ones.
Generally I wait till the leaves have browned out before pruning. Might want to try this question on the main board. Some of the members here know more about Trachy's than I ever will
Is that a Washingtonia or a T. Fortunei? It looks really good. I am off to buy a larger one this week....no one has Washingtonia around here. All fortunei.
W.robusta, bought as a 3 gallon last year at Lowes.
Wish I could find Trachy's locally here, do have some seedlings that are doing good, but probably a few more years before they can be planted.
