Tavi, Chamaerops tag says 2010 germination, probably in the 14-inch tree pots within a year of that.
Phoenix though are the all-time winners for root size/length/filling the pot.
I've had 6 month old Phoenix, germinated in styro coffee cups, whose roots when unravelled were over a foot long.
