macario those are nice purchases, great prices. They sure don't look like bouncing around in the vehicle from Nevada to your home did 'em any harm.

And hey, did everyone see macario's OTHER PICS (bottom left on his links page).
Stunning thompsoniana, and WOW last year's garden with all those palms in the ground.
(I joined too late to see those last year).
I'm going back to see more of your plants.

And since none of us probably know how old YOU are, is that your daughter or your wife?
(I can ask those things...it's a gender thingy).

Congrats on those new plants. Where are they going...you're running out of room!

well Kansas I bought all the palms from nurseries in s. cali. The Phoenix was only 40 dollars the sabals about 90ish I forget. The filifera bought from lowes in the high desert area right off of Intertate 15 for 20 dollars each 5 gallon. The T. wagnerianus was les than 100 also.

And lucky1 They are both my daughters in the pics. I have become an expert in palm packing lol. I didnt even get any dirt in the van this year. Its becoming an art form. I have just about ran out of room now I will just stay hme and playing with the things I got.

macario I bet your daughters are very appreciative of that lovely back yard in summer...palm, pool...and the girls having fun all day long, I bet.

You scored some really good plants for those prices. When I think of what we Cdns would pay...I shudder! A large clay pot is $125.00 ... rip-off!

Loved looking at the rest of your pics macario...I've been pounding my head trying to figure out what you built that fountain out of (beside the bananas, in case you have two) ...seems I should know, but I don't.

I didnt make that fountain I got it from home depot for 150 dollars. I wish I could take credit for it but I cant lol.

Maccario are you sure those are pure W. filifera looks to me like they might be W.filibusta? Great score on all your new palms.

Ryan awsome site! How much are you going to sell your T.takils for? We need more of you starting up palm nurseries. I now see what all those seeds are for!

Thanks John! Its been a work in progress since last summer. I only have 2 takils left that are 1 gallons, but I am emotionally attached to them so they are not for sale. I should have some more takils sourced out by summer. I have about 15 more seed varieties on order fresh from India.

Please don't mind my saying this...BUT there are a lot of spelling mistakes on the site.
i.e. Palm's Banana's (take out the apostrophe...it's plural, not possessive).
Also on the zone maps...it says maps are CURTESY of ... should be spelled COURTESY.

Hope I'm not being too anal but there are some very fussy people out there; know you would want it to be correct.

Thanks lucky, I have been really busy trying to get the site up and running so I have only read through it a few times. If you find more just PM me and I will correct the typos ASAP. I haven't had anyone proof read the site for me so there are a few mistakes. Thanks for your feedback. The more feedback I receive the better the site will become.

Is your business mainly mail order or do you have a store front as well I believe you are in Scarborough. Nice to have a source of exotics within the GTA. BTW, did your palms survive the winter?

Unfortunately my palm did not make it. It was not because of cold weather, but rather my light shifted on a cold night and pointed right at the trunk. When I uncovered the plant had dried out

. I will try again this year as well as testing the hardiness of other trachy species. The palm did have some cold -14C nights unprotected with no damage whatsoever.
