5ft of Snowi in the Northeast of America?
I see that Jet stream has been playing tricks again. ABC news reporting deep snow in the Northeast of America and floods further inland. Anyone affected?

I know that it snowed in parts of Quebec the other day, and upstate NY received at least 3' of snow in some areas. Luckily I'm not affected this time

We got 3 inches of rain in two days...yipppeeeee, free water.
But sure appreciate the sun again!
You can almost hear the grass grow with all that water.
Mountain passes in BC have been getting snow overnight for 3 days...but they're at 5 to 6 thousand feet elevation.

I see that all the time, it was colder or hotter in an area than was recorded. I think they take an average of 3 weather stations for the "offical" temp.canadianplant wrote:I seen it on the map on weather.com Jim.... I shoulve posted it when i seen it. Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

if you hit the 'animate season' link under 'snow precipitation' you'll get a VERY COOL looking animation on the snow for the ENTIRE SEASON. Very interesting.

That's one quarter of our annual water!Did you flood out?
Nope, lucky it just ran off the hill in all the right directions.
Saved a couple of buildings from being flooded.
Very lucky.
