Uncovered Washy

Post by GlennKing »

Well actually it was uncovered about 2 weeks ago and looked pretty good but the constant pounding of cold wind and rain beat it up a bit,not to mention the 28F temp last night didn't do it any favors. I'm hoping it should be fine....

Hi Glenn,

your Washy should take off this season......it has a nice fat trunk...........all it needs is some heat. :D

Looks great!! Should explode this summer for you! How are your magnolias?

My 15 gallon Edith Bogue is coming into Steins next week.

Yes I'm hoping once we get some heat around here it should take off....

wxman, My magnolias took a BIG beating this winter and will need to lose and grow new leaves again once it warms up around here,I picked up a 2 more BBB on my Florida trip a 2 weeks back, and a few other things
Hey once Steins gets your EB Mag post a few pics,I'd love to see what they got you....

When the temps warm up some,I would also pull the mulch back to let the soil warm up.

It's still green in the center and looking good. That washy will look like new in no time.

Looks a heck of a lot better than my two Washies.

Good work protecting it.
