Thanks guys/gals...

Barb...me2 on the Washy,it will need some trimming as I left it out a long time last fall
so it has some fried leaves on it-hopefully all the moisture this winter won't be a prob...

Maybe by mid month on the Ensete Chad-it is a shadow of it's former self as the drought of the last
few years has it smaller than it has been in years-unfortunately my beautiful Ventricosum tried
to bloom again over the winter, second plant in the last 2 years to do that..I guess the stress
of being dug up is just to big a signal to try to reproduce :(

Tim....
What? you like the Tricho?
I wish you would have told me

It will be fun to see how much it grows this year,
my Cereus Peruvianus grew a total(including all the arms) of 4' last summer!

Everything looks great, Jim! That T. martianus seems to have suffered no damage at all.

Thanks Jeff

It is still a nice surprise to come home and see the palms out-what a long drag to spring it was!

Thanks Cameron

One of the reasons I planted it last November was that it usually gets decimated by WSM in
winter in the house...it was spoiled on the same circuit as the T.Ferns so it never saw below 30F.

Tim

It looks like after this next cold front spring will finally arrive with above normal temps for a change!

Friday night was the first low above freezing in 48 days and Friday(65F) was the first day
we saw temps above 60F this March, latest I have ever seen.
If your Waggie doesn't make it(I think it will come back)you should try a Princeps/C.Cerifera,
I think with your protection methods you could keep in in great shape over winter...
they are really stunning palms....you may just need a little moisture management around it
but that is about it...
