Hey guys this new palm protection may replace our faithfull palm boxes in the future. Also tried the mummy wrap tent method on 1 palm check out the video this method is the closest thing to keeping a natural look to your palm at least until Christmas or after New Years in zone 5. A little risky but my 10+ years at this tells me it should work
cheers

Mike, I love the hollow rocks! Great protection measures as always.

Mike, the second video (5 minutes) is very descriptive of each method.
Very creative that you kept the stripped palm fibres for re-use.
If it works--and I sure hope it does--it'll be a First! for that technique.
A must see for everyone!
Thanks for the detailed descriptions of all your other tips by variety.
Why does the cerifera in the back yard need light during winter?
Or is it just for warmth?
Appreciate this, Mike, thank you.
