Some Yard Pictures

Post by wxman » Tue Jun 05, 2012 6:00 pm

Took some pictures tonight on how things are coming along.

Yucca filamentosa 'color guard' and magnolia grandiflora '24 below'.

Image

Magnolia is growing pretty fast for just being planted.

Image

Expanded perennial bed to include some more tropicals and a desert bed.

Image

Musa orinoco pups that I separated and small ensete maurelii.

Image

Christmas palm.

Image

Cactus bed.

Image

Wider angle of some beds.

Image

Cannas are starting to grow rapidly. They all started out as bulbs this spring.

Image

Rhododendron has doubled in size with its new growth.

Image

Musa orinoco that I overwintered and new baby musa basjoo.

Image

Another bed with an ensete maurelii, yucca filamentosa 'color guard', thai black banana and another rhodo.

Image

Ensete maurelii getting LARGE.

Image

Another wide angle shot.

Trachy I planted in 2008.

Did not realize that you live on a golf course... That grass is perfect.

Hope 24 below does well for you.

Yes, neat Christmas palm. I have none left. Please take care of it!

Rest of yard looks fabulous. Glad you are taking out lawn and expanding the beds.
