It snowed because you took off your palm protection! It never fails. :D

It does look nice!

Sorry but I gotta get out of my office now since it's getting too hot. If I don't leave I'll have to turn on the AC. (not to rub it in) :bootyshake:

My parent's beach house got snow again Monday.
The same day they flew to Norway. Odd place for a Spring Break trip, but warmer up there than in Oregon.

Hi Cameron,

your getting snow? PLEASE keep it up in your area and not down here. 8)

PS, how are your test plants fairing?? Did you have some hardy citrus outdoors this winter??

Tim, I had 2 Yuzus planted outside through the winter. The protection came off of one, and I know that it's dead. Maybe the Poncirus rootstock will re-sprout. I haven't uncovered the other one yet, so we'll have to see how it does!

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

I actually like seeing Trachys with snow on them! :) It shouldn't get cold enough to damage or burn the palm, should it? Plastic bag just extra insurance?

Barb

Make sure to bury the body next to your palm!

Andy, the plastic was added over the spear to keep it dry.
Removed as soon as the snow ended.

Despite being only 35 miles south of me, Kelowna could be (weatherwise) 500 miles south of here.
Okanagan Lake is a huge lake, with considerable moderating influence.
Too far from me to do any good.
