GROWING TRACHYCARPUS FROM MY MATURE PALM TREES

I WAS VERY EXCITED THIS SPRING WHEN MY MATURE WINDMILL PALMS ALL SEEMED TO FLOWER AT THE SAME TIME. I HAND POLLINATED THESE -TOOK MALE FLOWER AND TAPPED POLLEN ONTO FEMALE FLOWERS. ALSO RUBBED FLOWERS TOGETHER AND THEN LEFT THE MALE FLOWERS IN THE FEMALE TREE. I PICKED SEEDS OUT MID TO END OF NOVEMBER AND SOAKED THEM FOR A FEW DAYS TO A WEEK. PUT THEM IN ZIPLOCK BAGS WITH HOUSEPLANT SOIL MIX SOME IN NOVEMBER SOME IN DECEMBER . FROM A FEW HUNDRED SEEDS HARVESTED I HAVE AT LEAST 50 SEEDLINGS OPEN . MANY OF THE SEED LOOKED EXTREMELY LARGE SO I AM CALLING THEM TRACHYCARPUS FORTUNEI MONTREALENSIS LOL...
