I love your palm gardens and ingenuity to winter- protect them! I have a five year old pomegranate and a grapefruit tree that has been outdoors here in zone 6b/7a for three years now (I build a heated hoop house over the grapefruit tree each winter). As well, we have 16 species of Yucca, and a 8' tall southern magnolia, also osmanthus, arbutus, ficus carica, musa basjooo, sequoiadendron and Japanese timber bamboo. This will be the first outdoor winter for Sabal x texensis Brazoria, Sabal louisiana, Yucca brevifolia, Loquat and Butia capitata. Thank you for the additional inspiration for zone pushing and protection ideas. Please video your protection techniques!
