Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.

Excellent pics of Plantasia Cactus Gardens! Looks like paradise to me. I actually drove through Twin Falls a couple of years ago on my way to Las Vegas. Does Twin Falls has the same climate as you? I'll have to check that place out next time i'm in the area.
Twin Falls is just alittle warmer, but not much. They are a zone 6 and I live in a zone 5b.
If you ever come down this way, get a hold of me and I will take you right to it

I bought a agave americana last spring. For the winter, I had it in a clear plastic garbage bag. It did quite well except for the tips that punctured the bag.. the tips were a little brown, but noticed a new shoot starting at the ground level.. (or whatever the offspring are called)
I have tried agave americana with no success in the past, but this year I will try again with a hardy americana ssp. (proto americana). I will see how well it does here?
So...Kyle what zone do you live in? I think that is cool that you can grow Agave americana You will have to keep us all posted on it success!
