Awesome! Hope you did more than just look at palms!
For everyone who called me crazy for saying that Trachies aren't pretty, check out the little guys in the picture 3rd from the bottom!

Thanks Jay!
Have you checked out Red Rock Canyon just west of the city. Very cool rock formations, not to mention J-Tree, bacatta and mojave yucca forests!

They're not pretty in Vegas, that's for sure. Trachies aren't down with the summer blaze of the Mojave. The only palm that looks better in Canada

Ah, eye candy, Jay.
Tend to agree that Trachies are gorgeous, but only if there aren't other species like Washy or Jubea or Sabals or CIDP nearby.
Thanks Jay.

Hey i'm happy to share.
Had a great time but I'm sad that the Sahara casino shut down.
@Paul.
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Duncan, We didn't make it Red Rock Canyon. We planned on renting a car and heading out that way but didn't happen
this time. There's always next time.

Jay always nice to see your pics from your annual trip to Vegas. To bad you can`t bring anything back from the local nurseries? I`m sure you could pick up Yuccas on the cheap.

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
