Good news is the trachys with the foam box and space heaters are perfect. Probably will stick with those two, protect heavily and enjoy them.

Also dug up my ensete as they kept going downhill. One looks like it will pull through for sure (new tiny white roots), the other I think is toast - Mushy roots with bugs all over the corm. I am going to try to do the ensete mutilation on these to get pups for future replacements.
Planted the following tonight as replacements:
(2) more big ensete maurelii that I found locally ... next year they are NOT going in the ground until Memorial Day, lol. Learned my lesson with this cold, rainy spring.
(2) Kalmia latifolia
(4) Cannas (need to get the specific name tomorrow -- it's in the garage on the pot)
(1) Codiaeum variegatum
(1) Rhododedron catawbiense 'Boursault'
