this yucca faxoniana is only one that its left, low germination rate with faxoniana, but this one make shure that from one seed i will have 3 branches. very strange that in this phase of growth is branching??
opuntia ficus indica. planted outdoor but i think winter will kill it. it is too heavy to take it in/out so i planted it outdoor. have new one without needles.
my big albizzia and 2 washingtonias
black fig
cold hardy mini kiwi, down to -30C, first fruits,3rd year
yucca carnerosana and sabal havanensis i got from friend, mother plant lives in Zagreb,Croatia, botanical garden. it looks like minor but still not so. at palm talk it was a discussion about it what it is, and i cant remember what was the conclusion.

great photos Damir! Great scenery. I would love to vacation their.
Do you have an update photo of your small Y. faxoniana? The leaves appear very narrow for a Y. faxoniana seedling. I received Y. faxoniana seeds from Mesa Garden back in 2001 and they grew into hybrid plants (crossed with a narrow leaf yucca). Some are still alive in my garden but very slow growing.

i dont have any of my own pics of terebinth pistachio. google it, it is the same look of the plant. looks like real one pistachio but smaller leaves, fruits.... i've read somewhere that the seeds of terebinth pistachio is sold in Turkey as a coffee. it has very interesting smell.

this link shows temps in next 15 days.
tim, you are right, our cold in europe , is your warmth.
jim, it looks .... i wont say it, but you might know what i think.
i dug it out, the trachy palm, and plant it in the pot in basement till the spring comes out. and i will need another place for it, to avoid this year story. the main thing is that it is alive. i cut down all the leaves that were broken and some upper part of the trunk, it will survive.
e.coccineus, first winter outdoor,no any protection and it looks just fine
"the cat" i found in the street when was just one month old. he likes to eat young yuccas,so he is a "yucca lover" . i prefer dogs, but this one is special.
this is what is left from my trachy that was hit by the ice from the roof of the house...
plants from basement. y.elata, one yr old seedling, araucaria araucana, butia capitata right, trachy bulgaria small one left, agave lechuiguilla in back, and part of washingtonia trunk.
few chamaerops humillis rigida blue seedlings that were left outdoor without protection, still looks good,we'll see in spring when/if it will grow...
two small pistachios. pistacia vera. one is from seed from croatia, and other one is from seed from iran. and if it is male and female, in about 10 years i will have my own pistachios
