Hi KrisK, welcome aboard.
Your picture proves you fit right in here
What are the little palms in the two red pots?
Is that a Butia capitata in the unplanted pot?
(Erik and I have stories about those... , don't we:? )
I'd get that guy into the ground.
Looks like you've got room for more

Thanks guys!
I've been a lil busy the last few days - my dads been in the hospital but we're thinking he'll be discharged soon.
I live just a lil down the road from Erik, in Muskogee. So about the same overall climate. We live in a subdivision with privacy fences so I have some wind protection. The palms are out back (north side) of the house so they catch alot of sun til the tall trees in the empty lot west of us provide afternoon shade.

Big needle from Lowes
Green Med Fan from Kmart
Pindo in pot
Windmill from Kmart
The lil orange pots are a s birmingham and an s minor
Then Musa basjoos
The planted palms are going on their 1st year. The bananas are 2 years in the ground. The small clump was cut at ground level last winter. The large clump at the right of the pic was cut at ~3ft and protected with a leaf cage. They're about as tall as me at the leaf tips.
I've taken some close ups of these, and the palms around the other side. When I get time I'll upload these guys.
