Thanks Cameron.

I have a gas heater in there, and the bubble wrap is over the greenhouse completely, which really does a fantastic job holding in the heat,it did get down to 54* in the least night.and the thermometer is next to the door, where it gets a little cooler,in the middle of the greenhouse its a lot warmer.

Don, great palms, great pics!
Quite a range of palm species, and all look well grown.
Bet that Hyophorbe wasn't easy...I finally bought a 7-footer, love dragging it around twice a year indoors/outdoors.
That King looks tall already for such a youngster...very nice.
It occurred to me that you have more species than most of the nurseries we deal with.
More pics please

If you drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Something just occurred to me, Don.
I bought a new Pygmy Date Palm a few months ago, tag indicated a big Florida nursery.
Bet none of your PDP's have this problem:

While I don't think it's that devastating red palm weevil that's shown up in CA (and loves Phoenix sp!), palmetto weevil damage manifests itself this way. And Florida does have palmetto weevils.
My point? Wish I had been able to buy from you...your plants are obviously clean.
Barb
PS--anybody know if my PDP is doomed?

I've read that an acoustic device (other than a stethoscope
) captures sounds of the grubs chewing inside the stems.
was yours a new tree?
I'm going to look for my receipt, and take it back to the nursery.
How awful those beggars love Phoenix species.
There's gotta be a predator for weevils, but I've never seen "weevils flying around", have you?
