really pushing this frond in the warm basement under lights 16hrs:

Seems that my success is assured with getting palms from John (okanagandesertpalms)! :lol: :lol:

Yes, very nice!
As you know, I'm keen on Sabal but know nothing about "Riverside" beyond what little I've read.

Nice to see the S.riverside doing well for you. It is probably root bound by now in that 1 gal. Maybe a transplant in order with it being under those lights?

I can tell you this, I had one and it did better than most of my sabal minors did. It did not last the whole winter but did very well. :)
