Palms in yard

We just moved into our new house and I finally can start planting some of my palms,yuccas, bananas next spring

. I`m thinking my best chances for success are with my larger Trachys and yuccas,basjoos. Here are some photos.

What zone are you in now? I will be going back to florida some time. And I will buy everything at the nurserys.

Donnie we are zone 6b to 7a. With global warming could be 7b. -17c was our cold reading for last winter.

John, My bananas have been dissapointing so far. I guess i didn't pick the right spot for them. Next year i will find a better spot with less sun. I will take some pics near the end of September and post them.

Great collection of palms. Have you got any good sized sabals or needles?

Wes I have lots of Sabal Louisiana, S. minor. I will be ordering some 10 gallon needles for the spring. Needles are hard to find on the west coast!

Wes I am friends with a nursery owner. He is doing a search for me for next spring.I will know better the prices and sizes available come next march when he places his order for the palms he brings up every year.
