Is your princeps snow white?

The Trachycaprus princeps we normally see on the web look greenish at upperside if without a careful look at the undersides of leaves and even the leaf undersides are sometimes blue or gray we come across,NOT as white as they should be, therefore losing partially their charm and beauty worth our appreciation.
To be frank, T.princeps as the only blue trachycarpus have white powder not only present on the backsides of leaves, but also at the upper leaf surface and petioles. So they can be a green palm looked from above, and blue or silver from below , what is fascinating is that they can be a blue or even white palm from above and snow white from below other trachycarpus can not beat.

Here are some photos demonstrating how white the upper leaf surface as well as the lowerside could be .

Mine are really white too, Garry. I'll try and get a few pictures up tomorrow.

Here's a few pictures for you Garry. Keep in mind they have been transplanted and are only now getting back on there feet.

The princeps are the 2 blue pots, and the 3 in maroon pots from Steve. My camera isn't all that great but you get the picture

The new fronds coming up are beautiful, I can't wait to see them in a few years, or next summer actually

Your palms are magnificent Garry! Your a true palm pioneer we should chat sometime.

Jim,
Maybe yours will get whiter at the upper leave surface when it is bigger.Actually it is blue as compared to other green palms.
One of mine is also dark green and after I put it in the sunlight, it turns blue and now produces thick white tinge on the new leaves.
Bill, I just can't see your photo of which you cited the link from other sites? Or am I blocked from viewing certain sites, as it is possible though?
You may just add photos directly here. Interested to see more cute ones.

Awesome princeps you are growing and Tim you can expect yours to be like that in the coming years.
I also found that some princeps are quite compacter and others are stretched. This could be caused by the growing conditions or inherent genetic variations as we see T.fortunei are slender with long petioles in warmer and wet area and tend to be stronger in cold climate. However ,still there are some variations among T.fortunei in the same place and also T.princeps from the same batch of seeds.

One of My princeps produces very small leaves like waggy and interesting also is the white powder to the leaf upperside and underside is more punctuated with time as it was greenish at upperside and gray below before and now turning into a bit of whiter blue princeps with very white undersides
