Here are some Washy filifera that are 8 1/2 months old. They will be planted next spring with protection come winter. These things are bullet proof to grow from seed. :D

I have about 14 Robusta from seed and about 20 Filifera from seed, then about 10 Filibusta from seed. They are all about 3 months old and look nowhere near being ready to look like those at 8 months.
Is there a secret?
My Robusta are the oldest and are on the third leaf. It is wider and heavier than the other two which I guess is normal, but is there a secret?

Kansas and Knnn the seedlings from the beggining are grown under florescent lights 24/7 until their 2 nd strap leaf. They are then transplanted into one gallon pots using " Pro mix hp" brand soil. The seedlings then are placed under 1000 watt bulbs because it was in Dec and they love all the light to grow . I fertilized with 20/20/20 with micro nutrients and "Superthrive" and "Thrive alive b1 vitamin". Filiferas have been outside since May they were just transplanted into 2 gal pots as they were very root bound.

Thanks for sharing your regimen.

No one within 50 miles of me seems to carry ProMix, I've heard nothing but good about it, HP = High Porosity?
I guess it's time to track down an online distributor......

Here's to all the global warming pushers, may your winters be -30 below and four feet of snow in your driveway. Because I want you happy.
